In celebration of this month’s Archdiocesan Jubilee of the Laity, the Archdiocese of Cebu gives due recognition to members of the community who, in many ways, have contributed to the continuing development of the archdiocese, and the Christian Community in its entirety.

Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma presided over the Thanksgiving Mass at the Martins of Lisieux Chapel, San Carlos Seminary College, Cebu City.

The good Archbishop led the giving of a plaque of recognition to his doctors, his close-in security, the LH Foundation Inc., the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Scholarship Fund, the Barangay Multipurpose Cooperative, and the San Pedro Calungsod Choir.

Today also marks the 25th Anniversary of the San Pedro Calungsod Choir — a group of former seminarians dedicated to the preservation of the Choral Works of the late Msgr. Rodolfo Villanueva.

This is only the first batch of the series of recognitions. We pray that God may continue to inspire more people to minister to His Church on earth.
