22 catechists from the different parishes of the Archdiocese of Cebu completed their basic Course on Catechism, and were officially commissioned as Catechists for their respective faith communities.
Cebu Archbishop-Emeritus Jose Palma presided over the Holy Mass and the Missio Canonica at the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Lahug, Cebu City. He was joined by Fr. Joseph Yntig (Director, Archdiocese of Cebu Catechetical Ministry), and other visiting priests.
Let us pray for our Catechists that, filled with Missionary Zeal, they may go out to all the world to share the light of Christ and strengthen the faith in their communities.
