As we begin the Misa de Gallo in joyful anticipation of the birth of our Savior, we gather as one family of faith, remembering our brothers and sisters affected by recent calamities. In this season marked by the Jubilee of Hope, we are reminded that Christmas is not only a celebration, but a call—to bring hope to one another and to respond with compassion.

As we listen to “Atong Pasko,” the song becomes the voice of our shared longing and hope: a prayer that unites our joys and sorrows, and invites us to live the call of communion and mission. United as one community in Christ, may our celebration move us to solidarity, generosity, and renewed service, so that the light of Christmas may be felt by all.
