Most Rev. Jesus Armamento Dosado, C.M. (1977-1979)

Jesus Armamento Dosado hails from Sogod, Cebu. He was ordained bishop together with Bishop Dean by Cardinal Rosales on January 25, 1978 in Manila. He was the Rector of the Seminario Mayor de San Carlos when he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu. He succeeded Bishop Dean as Parish Priest of San Nicolas, Cebu City. He spent the short time of his stay in Pastoral Visit and giving mission with the newly ordained priests. In 1979 he became Auxiliary Bishop of Cagayan de Oro, and then in 1981 Bishop of Ozamis, finally in 1983 Archbishop of Ozamis. He was also the Chairman of the Episcopal Commission on Divine Worship.
