Balik Lantaw exhibit invites faithful to Jubilee reflection

Serving as both a memento of the Jubilee Year 2025 and an invitation to look back with gratitude, the Cebu Archdiocesan Digital Communications Ministry (CADComM) officially launched the exhibit, “Balik Lantaw sa Panaw,” at the Archbishop’s Residence in D. Jakosalem Street, Cebu City.

The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was led by Msgr. Roger Fuentes (Vicar General), alongside representatives from the various Pilgrim Churches and Stories of Hope sharers.

The exhibit showcases a collection of curated watercolor paintings and artworks inspired by the various Pilgrim Churches within the Archdiocese, offering a visual journey for the faithful.

Complementing the artworks are exclusive Pilgrims of Hope memorabilia from Rome, as well as a photo gallery highlighting various local Jubilee celebrations held throughout Cebu.

The exhibit launch comes as the Ordinary Jubilee draws to a close, culminating in the closing of the Holy Door at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome by Pope Leo XIV.

Open to the public, Balik Lantaw sa Panaw will run from today until the end of January.

As visitors reflect on these expressions of the pilgrimage, they are invited to carry forward the lessons of the Jubilee Year—renewed faith, gratitude, and hope—into their daily lives.
