On this third day of Tinieblas, Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” S. Uy urged the faithful to grow in self-awareness and humility as they strive to live more like Christ.
He noted that in workplaces and even within families, people often become upset with the faults of others, yet unknowingly fall into the very same shortcomings they criticize.
Archbishop Abet emphasized that Jesus overcame darkness not by responding with more darkness, but by bringing light. Instead of anger, hatred, or hurt, Christ responded with love.
Pagdala og kahayag,” he said.
