As Pilgrims of Hope in this Jubilee Year 2025, in this month of November, we lift our hearts in prayer for the poor, the orphan, the homeless, the unborn, and for unity among all peoples and faiths. May God’s mercy lead us to walk together in compassion, peace, and hope.
May this month’s jubilee renew our compassion and awaken us to God’s call to mercy. May we see Christ in the faces of the least, the lost, and the forgotten — and become signs of hope where despair lingers, and instruments of love when goodness is forgotten.
God of mercy and compassion,
You journey with Your people through every age,
calling us to be pilgrims of hope
in a world thirsting for Your light and in need of healing.
Look kindly upon the poor, the orphan,
the homeless, and the unborn —
those most fragile in body and spirit.
Embrace them with Your healing love,
and stir in our hearts the courage to defend their dignity
and to share from the abundance of Your grace.
Bless all efforts that seek unity among believers and peace among nations.
May dialogue among faiths open pathways of mutual respect,
and may our common search for truth and goodness
reveal the face of Your mercy to the world.
In this Jubilee Year, renew Your Church and all humanity
with the joy of forgiveness, the strength of charity,
and the steadfast hope that leads us home to You.
Amen.
