As part of the observance of the Jubilee Year of Hope and the Archdiocesan Jubilee for the Environment, Government Officials, Securities, and Missionaries, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu invites the faithful to unite in prayer through the Virtual Holy Rosary on October 31, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
The online Rosary shall be broadcasted through the Facebook pages of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu, Cebu Province, and Maymay sa Magbalantay.
The online prayer gathering will seek God’s mercy for the healing and peace of the world, protection for victims of abuse, enlightenment for leaders, and compassion for those affected by recent calamities, particularly the earthquakes in Cebu and Mindanao.
Cebu Archbishop Most Rev. Alberto Uy, D.D., shall lead the faithful in praying the Rosary while Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro will lead the intentions. The five decades of the Rosary will be led by various parishes affected by the recent calamities: Sto. Niño Quasi-Parish in Nailon, Bogo City; Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of San Vicente Ferrer; San Juan Nepomuceno Parish; San Miguel de Arkanghel Parish; and Sto. Niño Parish. The Magnificat Choir will accompany the prayer with hymns.
