SMSC and USC signs MOA for future collaborations

Today, the Board of Bishops of the Seminario Mayor de San Carlos gathered for their biannual meeting. Present in the meeting were Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma, Jaro Archbishop Designate Midyphil Billones, Tagbilaran Bishop Alberto Uy, Talibon Bishop Patrick Daniel Parcon, Dumaguete Bishop Julito Cortes, Maasin Bishop Precioso Cantillas, Prosperidad Bishop Ruben Labajo, and the SMSC Team of Formators led by SMSC Rector Fr. Mhar Vincent Balili.

During the Meeting, a Memorandum of Agreement between the Seminario and the University of San Carlos was signed. The memorandum is aimed toward future collaborations between the Seminario and the University, looking toward their shared identity, history, and Mission of forming men and women after the heart of Jesus, the Great Teacher.

After the Meeting, Talibon Bishop Patrick Daniel Parcon led the blessing of the Seminary’s new guest rooms.
