St. John the Baptist Parish dedicates parish and altar

With joyful hearts, the faithful of St. John the Baptist Parish in Tabla, Sudlon 1, Cebu City, gathered for the Solemn Dedication of the Parish Church and Altar.

Msgr. Roger Fuentes (Vicar General) presided over the Eucharistic Celebration, together with Fr. Kent Dahrel Galo (Parish Priest) and other visiting priests.

While the consecration of the altar is significant, Msgr. Roger emphasized in his homily that the physical beauty of a parish church holds little value if its congregation does not embody holiness.

“Unsay sunod aning consecration? Hinay-hinay gyod unta usab nga kita mabalaan,” said Msgr. Roger.

The call is clear: it is not just about building a beautiful church but about fostering a community that actively seeks to grow in faith, love, and righteousness.
