STC students share insights on CADComM immersion

Senior High School Students from St. Theresa’s College share their experiences and insights during their work immersion program in the Cebu Archdiocesan Digital Communications Ministry (CADComM).

✍️ SOPHIA ISABELLE CAMARILLO

My time with CADCoMm was a meaningful one. From office work to meeting the Archbishop, all those moments will forever be engraved into my heart and memories. My journey with the team has given me new profound knowledge, strengthened my faith, and led me to become closer to God. The journey has led me to appreciate all things surrounding me and hopefully, sometime in the future, I’ll be able to journey with CADComM again. This time, as a volunteer

Lastly, I’d like to thank all my supervisors for all their guidance, patience, and support. The journey wouldn’t have been the same without them.

✍️ CELINA BEATRICE SALAZAR

My experience in CADComM is one for the books. Every task given was not a walk in the park; from the filming of the stories of hope, meeting the Archbishop, attending mass to doing officework. Each of them was worth it and rewarding knowing that I was doing it for the Lord.

I have strengthened my faith, fostered communication and collaboration skills, and learned so much more. I will forever be grateful for CADComM as they have imparted me with these values and skills that I will bring with me for the rest of my life.

✍️ JOAQUIN RODRICO RODRIGUEZ

My time at CADCOMM has been an incredibly enriching and transformative experience. What I initially expected to be a routine office role turned out to be an immersive journey filled with learning and growth. From attending masses and capturing meaningful moments to participating in conferences, productions, and creative writing, every task pushed me beyond my comfort zone.

Each day presented new challenges that refined my skills, expanded my perspective, and equipped me with valuable experiences that will benefit my future business ventures. CADCOMM’s dynamic environment has strengthened my abilities in ways I never imagined, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring team.

✍️ CASSANDRA MANGUERRA

During my first day at CADComM, I thought that we were just gonna report and write articles. However, as my journey at CadComM reached an end, I realized that this organization was more than that. There is so much work and effort that is being put into every post.

I can say with confidence when I return to school that I can apply these lessons in school and guide me for the future. CADComM has pushed me to experience different environments and for that I am grateful.

✍️ KYREN AYANEE CARDENAS

Throughout my work immersion in CADComM, I found the experience to be both unexpected and insightful. At first, I doubted my ability to handle tasks especially when I was assigned to be the photographer for a mass. Although we received a briefing about the basics of photography, applying those skills in real time was a different experience. I only captured a few, I was grateful that Ate Carmelle selected two for submission. That moment made me realize that every day would bring unexpected challenges, and it was up to me to solve them.

Over the next few days, I learned how to do indexing and explored tools in Excel, which proved useful, particularly for tallying posts and activities on a website.

Throughout my immersion, I heard different stories from various people and gained valuable lessons from them. Meeting the people in CADComM significantly shaped my skills in preparation for my college year.
