‘Heart and Soul’ Concert Raises Funds for Padre Pio Sanctuary in Cebu

The Saint Padre Pio Home for the Relief of Suffering – Philippine Foundation Inc. presented “Heart and Soul,” a fundraising concert for the Santuario di Padre Pio – Cebu featuring Jed Madela, along with guest performers Bituin Escalante, JM Dela Cerna, and Marielle Montellano, at the Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City.

Among the concert’s attendees were outgoing Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma, Cebu Auxiliary Bishop-Emeritus Antonio Rañola, religious men and women, and individuals who supported the concert’s cause.

The concert aims to gather resources to complete the construction of a sacred space dedicated to promoting the spirituality and teachings of St. Padre Pio Pietrelcina.

The proposed sanctuary will include the Capella della Madonna delle Grazie (Chapel of Our Lady of Grace), a 3,000-seat arena with colonnade, a 100-foot statue of St. Padre Pio featuring La Capella della Replica with his first-class relic and life-sized replica from San Giovanni Rotondo, a main hall for conventions and spiritual formation, and a retreat house.
