Arch. Uy: Pray, serve, and journey like angels

On this Feast of the Holy Archangels, Cebu Archbishop-Designate Alberto “Abet” S. Uy presides over the Holy Mass with the Spiritual and Pastoral Formation Year (SPFY) community, members of his household and guests at the Archbishop’s Residence Compound in D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City.

In his homily, the good Archbishop-designate encouraged the faithful to learn from the example of the Archangels, who come down from Heaven to journey with the living and return to be with God in endless praise.

Nindot kon uban sa Ginoo, kita mosaka, monaog,” he said.

He reminded them not only to focus on earthly concerns but also to spend time with the Lord, drawing strength from Him for their mission and their journey back to Him.

Inig human manaog napud ta aron mangangalad, manerbisyo,” he exhorted.
