Earlier today, Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” Uy convened key archdiocesan leaders — including the Vicars General, the Archdiocesan Chancellor, the Episcopal Vicars, the Archdiocesan Synodal Team, and the Archdiocesan Commissions — for a strategic meeting at the Filipiniana Hall of the Archbishop’s Residence.
Their focus is to refine the roadmap for Cebu’s nine-year journey toward becoming a Fully Alive Synodal Church.
The discussion marks an important step as the Archdiocese prepares for two historic milestones — the 2000th Anniversary of the Redemption in 2033 and the Centennial of Cebu as an Archdiocese in 2034.
The Archdiocese’s 9-Year Pastoral Plan will be officially launched on November 30, the First Sunday of Advent.
