Today, the Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepcion in Oslob, Cebu, celebrates its annual fiesta in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” Uy presided over the Fiesta Pontifical Mass. He was joined by Msgr. Alfredo Romanillos Jr. (Parish Priest), Fr. Everett Glad Niere (Parochial Vicar), and other visiting priests.

In his homily, the Archbishop gently reminded the faithful to walk hand in hand with the Blessed Mother each day of their lives, trusting her maternal guidance as they journey in faith, hope, and love.

“Dapat kada adlaw, kauban gyod nato siya sa atong paglakaw niining kalibutan padulong sa Ginoo. Kon gusto tang mahalangit, kon gusto tang mahaduol sa Ginoo, ari tas atong Inahan,” said Archbishop Abet.
