Rosary rally calls for clean, transparent government

Members of the clergy, religious, youth, and lay faithful traverse the streets of Cebu with rosaries and signages expressing their desire for a clean and transparent government in “Sangpit kay Maria: A Rosary Rally against Corruption.”

Organized by the Commission on Youth – Cebu and the Cebu Archdiocesan Social Advocacies, the procession aims to implore the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary for national renewal, integrity, and peace in a time of corruption and moral decay.

The faithful gathered at Sto. Rosario Parish and proceeded along Osmeña Boulevard, turning right at Fuente Circle, continuing through Gen. Maxilom Avenue, then left to F. Manalo Street, before concluding at Redemptorist Church.

The procession will conclude with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Philip Portillo, CSsR at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help – Redemptorist Church.
