With joy and thanksgiving, the Christian community of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish in Aloguinsan, Cebu, celebrates today its 113th annual fiesta.
Cebu Archbishop-Emeritus Jose Palma presided over the Holy Mass. He was joined by Fr. Rogelio Piloton Jr. (Parish Priest) and other visiting priests.
Despite the darkness and turmoil that seem to permeate the world today, Archbishop Palma reminded the faithful that no power of evil can ever surpass the greatness of God.
“Dili nato malikayan, tinuod gyod, dunay panuway, dunay yawa. Pero ang nindot nga kamatuoran mao nga bisan unsa pa ilang gahum, bisag unsa pa ilang abilidad, walay gahum nga mas makalabaw pa sa Diyos,” said Archbishop Palma.
