Allow God’s grace to flow into your life

“In today’s reading from the prophet Ezekiel, the prophet sees a beautiful vision. Water is flowing out from the Temple. At first it is just a small stream, but as it flows farther, it becomes deeper and stronger—until it becomes a great river that gives life wherever it goes.

The most striking part of the vision is this: wherever the river flows, everything lives. Trees grow along its banks, their leaves never wither, and their fruits never fail. The water brings healing and life.

This vision reminds us of what God wants to do in our lives.

God’s grace is like that river. When we allow God’s grace to flow into our hearts, it brings life, healing, and renewal. What is dry begins to live again. What is wounded begins to heal. What seems hopeless begins to grow again.

But there is one condition: we must allow the water to flow.

Sometimes our hearts become like dry land because we close ourselves to God. We stop praying. We stop listening to His word. We carry resentment, anger, or pride.

Lent is precisely the time when God invites us to open our hearts again—through prayer, repentance, and conversion.

If we allow God’s grace to flow into our lives, something beautiful will happen: our lives will also become a source of life for others.

Like the river in Ezekiel’s vision, wherever a person touched by God goes—there will be more kindness, more hope, more healing.

And that is what God desires: not only that we receive His grace, but that we become channels of His grace for others.”
