Today, Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” Uy presides over the Visperas Mass at San Isidro Labrador Parish in San Fernando, Cebu.

He was joined by the parish team of pastors led by Fr. Edwin Muaña (Team Moderator), and other visiting priests.

In his homily, the good Archbishop urged everyone to become living witnesses of the faith in their daily lives.

He reminded the faithful that holiness is not found merely in words, but in choosing to do good and to be good each day, so that our hearts may become worthy of entering the kingdom of heaven.

“Unta atong kasingkasing makasud sa langit … Take good care of your heart. Make it always soft, able to feel and to love,” said Archbishop Abet.
