Archdiocese opens registration for liturgical formation

The Saint Paul VI Institute of Liturgy (PIL), under the auspices of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Episcopal Commission on Liturgy (ECL), in collaboration with the Commission on Worship of the Archdiocese of Cebu, will conduct a liturgical formation seminar on “The Roles of the Masters of Ceremonies and the Parish Worship Committees” from August 14–16, 2026, at Galilee Central, Pope John XXIII Minor Seminary, Cebu City.

In his circular letter, Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” Uy encourages all clergy, communities of consecrated persons, and the lay faithful of the Archdiocese of Cebu to actively support and patronize this important liturgical formation. Each parish is requested to send three (3) delegates, composed of two (2) appointed Masters of Ceremonies and one (1) Parish Worship Coordinator.

Registration requirements include a registration fee of Php 1,500.00 per person, inclusive of snacks, lunch, and souvenirs, and a recommendation letter duly signed by the Parish Priest.
