As the Jubilee Year 2025 draws to a close, we gratefully remember the many initiatives, encounters, and shared moments of grace that marked this sacred time. In the Archdiocese, we thank you for the generous support and participation that helped make this Jubilee truly meaningful—a celebration of faith, hope, and love.
Practical Information on the Closing of the Jubilee Year and the conclusion of local pilgrimages
The Jubilee Year officially concludes with the closing of the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica on 6 January 2026, the Feast of the Epiphany.
In local dioceses worldwide, including parish-level celebrations, the Jubilee Year will conclude on 28 December 2025.
Accordingly, pilgrimages to Jubilee Churches within the Archdiocese will conclude on 27 December 2025.
While visits to Jubilee Churches will come to an end, pilgrimages to shrines and other sacred places will always remain part of our faith journey and are highly encouraged.
