PJS to hold White Lions Fun Run

Recognized as the only institution in Cebu that functions both as a high school and a seminary, the Pope John XXIII Minor Seminary continues to advance its mission of holistic formation for young men—developing them spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.

As part of its ongoing efforts to sustain this mission, the seminary has launched various initiatives that encourage generosity and active involvement from the community. Among these is the upcoming White Lions Fun Run, scheduled on August 8, 2026.

Organizers said proceeds from the event will directly benefit the seminary’s formation programs and operational needs.

The fun run will feature multiple race categories catering to different levels of participants. The 3-kilometer run, with a registration fee of P750, will begin at 5:00 a.m., while the 5-kilometer category, costing P950, is set at 4:30 a.m. Both categories include an event singlet, medal, post-race meal, and race bib.

For more experienced runners, the 10-kilometer race will start at 3:30 a.m. with a registration fee of P1,550, while the 21-kilometer category will commence at 3:00 a.m. with a fee of P1,950. Participants in these longer distances will receive an event singlet, finisher’s shirt, medal, post-race meal, and race bib.

Interested participants may register by scanning the QR code provided in the event’s promotional materials or by visiting the official registration page.

The White Lions Fun Run forms part of the seminary’s broader efforts to engage the faithful and the wider community in supporting the formation of future Church leaders.
