The danger is that we may spend more time listening to influencers than to Jesus.

Saint Dominic reminds us that before we allow the world to form our minds, we must allow the Gospel to form our hearts.

Every day we feed our minds with something. The question is: Are we feeding our faith or only our curiosity?

Speak the truth, but always with love

Social media has made it easy to criticize, argue, and judge. Many people win debates but lose relationships.

Saint Dominic defended the truth, but he never forgot charity. He knew that people are not won by angry words but by humble witnesses.

As Christians, we should ask ourselves before posting or commenting: Will this bring someone closer to Christ?

Truth should never become an excuse to be unkind.

Be a witness more than an influencer

Today everyone wants followers. Saint Dominic wanted disciples. There is a big difference.

Influencers ask, “How many people are following me?” Disciples ask, “How many people am I leading to Jesus?”

Whether you are a parent, a teacher, a student, or a worker, God has given you people to influence—not for your own glory, but for His.

The greatest influence is not measured by the number of likes but by the number of lives touched.

Let God remind you who you are

A grandfather noticed that every morning, before leaving for school, his grandson would spend thirty minutes scrolling through social media but never opened his Bible.

One day he quietly placed the Bible beside the boy’s phone with a small note that read:

“Before the world tells you who you should be, let God remind you whose you are.”

The grandson never forgot those words.

Years later he said, “Every day my phone told me what was trending. But the Gospel told me what was true. One changed my mood. The other changed my life.”
