Earlier today, members of the Cebu Archdiocesan Prison Apostolate (CAPA) held a Thanksgiving Mass to conclude the Archdiocesan Jubilee for People Deprived of Liberty.

Fr. Monico Catubig (CAPA Director) presided over the Mass at the Seminar Hall of Sto. Rosario Parish.

Anchoring his homily on today’s liturgical celebration, he invited the members to emulate the Holy Family in fulfilling their vocation as children of God: to receive the gift, respond to His call, follow His commands, and offer their lives to Him.

“Kining gasa sa Ginoo, hatag ni sa Ginoo nato. Unya sa kahibulungan Niyang kinaadman, Iyang kinabuhi ang Iyang gihatag kanato. Ug kay kita binuhat sa iyang kasamahan, ang gasa naay tawag. Ang hatag gikuyogan og tawag – ang tawag nga motubo ta sa pagkasantos,” he said.
